Bad at English learning. BIOS SETUP cannot be used. Hope experts can use a floppy disk to boot to solve BIOS Chinese localization. Thanks, experts!

It's really hard to come up with this problem!
Of course, it would be better if it could be localized into Chinese! But I think the difficulty must be relatively high!
First, we need to write the Chinese character font library into the BIOS, and also call these font libraries immediately when booting!
I think solving this problem will be okay!
Next, it's a simple task to localize all the setup items in the BIOS into Chinese!
(I learned DOS in the last century, but it still doesn't satisfy me up to now. Don't mind if I say something wrong! )

It can be localized. I remember there was an Elite motherboard that had a Chinese BIOS before, but later it ended up being abandoned because there wasn't much market demand (everyone was used to English).

The BIOS setup of an old machine in our school was in Chinese interface. I remember I was very surprised when I saw it at that time.

Who says Chinese BIOS has no market?
I have seen Chinese BIOSes from ASUS, AOpen, and MSI.
It's almost impossible to localize it yourself. If you have this ability, you can apply for writing firmware.

BIOS Chinese localization is quite simple. It mainly involves calling the font library. I once tried to make a dual BIOS, but it didn't succeed due to garbled display. Later, because of work reasons, I didn't have time to study, so I didn't continue.

Some people don't even have a good grasp of Chinese, but they still use computers, but they can only call for help. They don't even understand the basic way to ask for help.

Chinese is convenient!

In terms of the current capacity of BIOS chips, localizing the BIOS is not a problem. Of course, this must be done by the manufacturer or professional personnel. Generally, most people operate the computer under the operating system, and the BIOS functions before the operating system.

As for the motherboards with Chinese BIOS used by fewer people, on one hand, it is estimated that everyone is used to it. Moreover, most novice's computers are installed and set up by sales personnel; on the other hand, it can also prevent some people from randomly changing BIOS settings; the manufacturer can also reduce the secondary development cost and shorten the product listing time.

People from different foreign language backgrounds will definitely prefer Chinese text first!

Can't understand English BIOS? Do you think you can understand Chinese ones?

My computer was bought six years ago, a MSI AMI motherboard, which supports multiple languages, including full Chinese, but I was at a loss at that time.
What is IRQ, what is DMA channel, and what is PCI/PnP?
No one will translate these basic parameters for you because these are basic common sense for setting BIOS. If you don't have this kind of common sense, even if they are translated for you, you will still be at a loss.
For example, I tell you that IRQ is interrupt request, DMA channel is memory direct access channel, PCI/PnP is PCI/plug and play. Can you understand?
To learn about computers, don't always think about localization. Localization is simply dumbing down. Dumbing down is good, but can dumb people learn advanced things?
To learn BIOS settings, first of all, the motherboard must be equipped with a manual, which will definitely explain what the functions of some settings are. If you think it is too brief, buy a book on BIOS settings and read it carefully!

If only my were in Chinese, then I wouldn't need to refer to a book when changing settings! There are too many BIOS versions now, and they're all different. It's really troublesome to set something.
