楼主 don't get too hung up on this. Actually, for computers, storage is all in binary, but for easy reading, it's generally viewed in hexadecimal. Because one digit of hexadecimal exactly corresponds to four digits of binary. And computers calculate in bytes, where one byte is 8 bits of binary, which is exactly 2 digits of hexadecimal. For convenience, hexadecimal is generally used. A typical software is UltraEdit-32. I won't go into the conversion; the two upstairs have explained it clearly. You can use the calculator that comes with Windows to calculate. Generally, people who are familiar with it can do the mental math. Actually, you just need to remember the binary corresponding to the numbers 0-F. In principle, there's no size limit, but if the file is too large, there will definitely be memory limits when opening it.
