All the folders on my computer have these 2 files, “desktop” and “folder”. I don't know what's going on.......

If it can't detect it, maybe some antivirus software already killed the virus code, and what's left is harmless stuff. Check the size. The Happy Time FOLDER.HTT file is about 23K, and after cleaning it becomes about 12K.

It's best to use a new antivirus program under DOS to wipe them all out. Cleaning them under Windows can cause problems.

It can also be cleaned under WINDOWS, as long as you don't open Explorer while cleaning, or don't choose to view by WEB page…………

Right, it's about 12K! I've already deleted them all————1162 of them! And there were another 1161 desktop.INI files, all deleted too.

This is a typical new Happy Time. You can go to the Kingsoft Antivirus website and download a dedicated removal tool. It's very easy to use. Using it under WINDOWS works extremely well too, easy and convenient. Remember to go to its dedicated removal tool download section and get “New Happy Time”.

Don't worry, I saw your previous post. Those two files you mentioned are not all virus files; they are also normal system files. The dedicated removal tool for New Happy Time removes the virus from those two files generated by the virus, and what remains is virus-free, so don't worry. Don't think that just because those two filenames are still there after it cleaned them, it means the virus wasn't removed. Give it a try.
