Suggestion: Make a bootable disk specifically for booting USB devices
1. Make a bootable disk specifically for booting USB devices, including common USB keyboards, mice, etc., and then set up a multi-choice menu to boot different types of USB devices, such as hard disks, flash drives, optical drives, etc. A secondary menu can be used to load different drivers for the same type of device to boot as many USB devices as possible!
2. As for various tools, I think that as long as the USB device is booted, everything will naturally be available, and try to put as few as possible in the boot disk
3. Necessary and detailed usage instructions.

I just made a 0.1 test version of a bootable disk specifically for driving USB devices (USB drives, USB mice, etc.), and now I'm uploading it. Everyone can download and try it here:

This modified version of the super MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk should also be okay:

I also have several USB devices, and I'm willing to help you test them.

What USB devices are there? Can you be more specific?

I won't specifically add drivers to load USB devices. Ghost itself supports Net/USB/CD-ROM.

But the USB drivers built into Ghost have very poor compatibility.

Webmaster: Hello!
I have used almost all the boot disks from this site and also made my own boot disk, but none can boot my USB CD-ROM. My CD-ROM is a Winbook external CD-ROM, TEAC CD-224E USB Device. Using IBMUSBCD.SYS from this site can recognize it, but cannot assign a drive letter. I would like to ask the webmaster, can you tell me how to drive my CD-ROM? Thanks!!!

Most of the freezes or inability to drive certain USB devices when booting from a bootable disk that supports USB devices are due to the poor compatibility of these USB device drivers under DOS. Try removing some drivers or changing parameters to see. If a disk has multiple USB device drivers, try changing them one by one. Maybe one of them will work. No single driver is universal. The ultimate goal is to hope that everyone can make a driver disk suitable for their own use. That would be great!
