How to find 0.1111111111111……? The method is 1/9. Then, what about 0.222222222222……? It is (1/9)*2 = 2/9. By analogy, 8/9 = 0.888888888888888888888888……. Okay, here comes the problem. How do I get 0.999999999999999999999999……………………? (1/9)*9? How does it become 1? Is it because 0.9999…… is infinitely close to 1? Can anyone give an explanation?

(1/9)*9=9/9=1 ah

This is similar to
1/3=0.3333333333333333……
2/3=0.6666666666666666……
3/3=1

Has the landlord studied advanced mathematics?

The limit concept in the beginning of advanced mathematics (usually the first chapter) can solve the landlord's doubts.

The landlord is pretty good, very studious...
This kind of problem is not easy to think of, just like for thousands of years, no one asked why apples fall──Knowing the answer doesn't mean being smart, sometimes asking questions is also a kind of wisdom...
Come on...

This is not difficult. Look here. It mainly depends on whether you can accept this reality.
1 = 9/9 = 9*(1/9) = 9*0.111111... = 0.99999.......
Or
1 - 0.9.... = 0 => 1 = 0.99999. Because it is an infinite cycle, so you won't get a 1 with many digits after the decimal point.
Both can prove this problem, right?
