Not specifying the CD-ROM drive letter is not too big of a problem, because the system can still assign it by itself. But if there is no mscdex file at all (using shsucdx or others), then the problem is unsolvable.
In addition, in what environment did the landlord test? If it was tested in a virtual machine (VPC), it is natural that it won't pass.

So it turns out that UDVD.SYS replaces gcdrom.sys, and gcdrom.sys has fulfilled its mission, heh. It seems that the drivers in gghost also need to be upgraded.
