I do some small tools in my spare time for my own use. I only know ASM language, so all the tools are written in ASM...

No. It's based on BIOS expansion!
They are all tools related to H/W.

I don't know if the original poster has an understanding of the drive boot sequence in the BIOS. I want to control the boot sequence through software. I wonder if the LZ can give some guidance.

For this function, it can be realized! But you need to know how the BIOS does it...
Usually, the BIOS stores the list of bootable devices in a certain place (CMOS, NVRAM, memory).
This kind of tool needs to modify the order here so that it can be successfully modified for the next boot.
Usually, the BIOS has support in the SETUP for users to manually adjust the boot order...

Of course it can!!
For example: Access Rx2Ch - Rx2Fh of NorthBrige, and the read value is placed in EAX

mov dx, 0CF8h

Because the server is all set up by myself. Due to some reasons, there are no machines available to act as servers for the time being. So my site needs to be closed for a while!! I will figure out a way to put it somewhere or find a machine that can act as a server!

Only related to FLASH chips and motherboard chips!
