My machine configuration belongs to the server type. Generally, CD boot disks can't run on my machine, so I can't enter DOS.
The phenomenon is: the boot interface is visible, but as soon as I select DOS boot or any other option, the machine has no response (stuck there).
I tried many boot disks, none worked well. Only an older WIN2000 boot disk can directly boot into DOS. Such as the new Tomato Garden and other boot disks have the above phenomenon.
Machine configuration: Motherboard intel 7525
CPU: xeon 2.4 X 2
Memory ECC 512 X 2
Graphics card 3Dlabs VP880
Hard disk Samsung 120
CD - ROM SONY combo
Seek advice from experts why this phenomenon occurs, is it a hardware problem?
Experts give advice, otherwise I will be very troubled when making the machine (now I have no choice but to make a bootable external hard drive to enter DOS), please help
