DOS的引人之处在于命令行、基础性和精简，但对于当前完全的32位Windows的发展越来越跟不上形势了，而Windows PE基本上就是一个32位的DOS系统，因此，建议斑竹增加一个讨论和发展Windows PE系统的板块，研究这一系统有可能有力促进我国的操作系统的发展，让大家不要只停留在一个要逐渐被淘汰的系统上，这才有大的发展前途，同时也不脱离DOS联盟的宗旨，还能大大增进本站的名声。
目前有不少软件能做到在32位操作系统水平用一张磁盘在非图形界面或准图形界面来进行系统操作，例如Active@的系列软件、Partition Image的恢复盘和一些其他的系统恢复软件，好像类似功能水平的技术在我国还没有出现，国内在非图形界面的一张磁盘的系统维护软件（多半是杀毒用的）多数技术都还是基于16位操作系统，在FAT磁盘上进行操作，大家难道不因此觉得我们在这方面又落后于人了吗！斑竹赶紧关注一下我的建议吧！

就是太大了，winpe实用性还是有的。。不过我总觉得大了。。不简明。dos发展图形界面也不是不可以啊。。
It's just too big. The practicality of WinPE is still there... But I always feel it's big. Not concise. It's not impossible for DOS to develop a graphical interface.

同意。。建立后，GNU/FreeDOS 32应为首位，而WinPE呢，则只能居次位了。。毕竟GNU DOS才是联盟的真正目标呢。。Sandy说的没错~~

我其实关心兼容性、功能性和小型化。兼容性就是要完全兼容FAT和NTFS，最好还能兼容Linux等操作系统的文件格式就更棒了；功能性就是要能进行完全的系统维护，最好能有Active@Unerase等强力系统维护软件；小型化就是最好能在一张软盘中，实在不行也能在闪盘中处理。至于是否是WinPE，我同意7楼和Wengier的观点。能做出这样的系统，我看DOS联盟就不愁经费了。

Compatibility means fully being compatible with FAT and NTFS, and it would be even better if it can also be compatible with file formats of operating systems like Linux; functionality means being able to carry out complete system maintenance, and it would be best to have powerful system maintenance software like Active@ Unerase; miniaturization means it would be best to be able to handle it on a floppy disk, and if not, it can also be handled on a flash drive.
