中国DOS联盟新dos论坛发展至今用一点官样文章的话来说，取得了相当大的成就，也暴露了相当多的问题。所以，改版是必行的。
首先是界面。界面的问题我认为有三：
其一，美工。界面太过于单一且没有个性与特色。
解决方法,请美工高手设计设计，提请本站的注册者们各抒己见，拿出自己的方案或想法。我的观点是一定要强调dos的特色，让人一看就知道是dos相关的网站，且一定要简洁漂亮，生动大方。选定方案之作者，站长在本论坛给予一定的地位或奖励。
其二，字体。字体显示不清晰且美观程度不好。
解决方法，更换其它字体。
其三，层次。界面的显示过于直白没有深度。
解决方法，增加一些显示手法。如浮动条，动画等－－－

The China DOS Union's new DOS forum has achieved quite a lot and also exposed quite a few problems since its development up to now. So, a redesign is inevitable.

前二點我很贊同，但我覺得第三點不太妥當，因為有動畫的話不僅影響論壇速度且看起來也怪怪的，對了,論壇的短信服務確實是要修正一下

第二个问题我认为是论坛的辅助功能方面。一个是搜索功能要加强，往往用户需要搜索的主题是不会记忆得那么详细的，所以要加强模糊搜索的功能。
再就是Dark-Destroy版主再三提到的短信功能，我也遇到过类似的情况。我打字的速度本来就不快，好不容易完成了，一发送全作废。又得重新来过。真令人七窍生烟。
对用户所发主题或回复的帖子数可以多显示一点，但应有一个时限。超出一定时间不来论坛者就什么也没有了，只能自己在论坛中找。
用户控制面板的功能可以扩展一点。用户登录后应该能随时隐身。
暂时只想到这些，希望大家补充。

关于短信功能，现在版主的大小是600字节（一般会员则是300字节）。打完字发送前最好用Ctrl+C键COPY一下，以备不测。
用户隐身功能本论坛中是有的。
关于用户所发主题或回复的帖子数，以及模糊搜索的功能，我实在是找不到修改的地方。只有总管理员随风顺来修改一下了。
