Yitian takes up too much memory, using more than 80KB. My upper memory has 120KB, but once I install the NetWare network card driver, the conventional memory is reduced to only 530KB, which is really not enough! Do you have any good suggestions? Please don't be stingy with your advice, thank you!

To make CCDOS support BIG5, you don't need to add any parameters at startup. However, to make it enter the "Automatic" or "BIG5" state instead of the "GB" state, you can press the Ctrl+F8 key to switch, or modify its default settings in the SETUP setup program.

I see, but after I used it, printing traditional Chinese characters doesn't work, all are garbled. It seems that CCDOS can only be used to read BIG5, but cannot completely replace the BIG5 Chinese character system... Is there a way to make Eten occupy less memory? You can try uninstalling the input methods you don't need, which can save some memory.

I only added the main program of Yitian. The main program alone takes up more than 80K. A print driver takes up 30K. The input method can use extended memory, so it actually takes up not much main memory (the upper memory is less than 8K, which can be tolerated). The above two programs together use about 120K of main memory space. Plus the necessary network card driver for logging in to NetWare (lsl, ipxodi.netx, D-Link driver, etc., totaling four, about 120K of main memory space). The above necessary programs together are as much as 240K. My main memory is 640K + 140K, which is 780K. In this way, the available space is only less than 540K. It's a headache!
If using CCDOS (only takes up more than 27K of upper memory), there is 620K of basic memory available...
