卷标就是磁盘或分区的名字，对于硬盘分区而言，可以起到标记和一定的安全作用。当用FDISK和FORMAT时，必须输入卷标名才能删除分区和格式化，如果把卷标改成小写或乱码，磁盘就不能被FORMAT或删除分区，卷标名的修改对防低格是无效的。
另一方面，如果使用双硬盘的话经常会引起盘符交错的问题，如果把你的硬盘分区设了卷标，加入其他硬盘时你就不会搞不清那个分区是自己的硬盘的了。

When using FDISK and FORMAT, you must enter the volume label name to delete a partition and format. If you change the volume label to lowercase or garbled characters, the disk cannot be formatted or the partition deleted. The modification of the volume label name is ineffective for preventing low-level formatting.
On the other hand, if you use a dual hard disk, it often causes the problem of drive letter interlacing. If you set a volume label for your hard disk partition, when adding other hard disks, you won't be confused about which partition belongs to your own hard disk.
