UMB也可以用UMBPCI来提供。emm386目前剩下还算有点用的功能就是能提供保护模式，毕竟有时候还是要用到保护模式程序的。

Wengier做的启动盘就有提供保护模式的功能。只有在保护模式下才能使用32位的程序，比如用DJGPP编的程序、还有32位的RAR等。启动Win9x必须使用保护模式，但一般情况下，Win9x启动时会自动提供保护模式。另外像DJGPP中自带的CWSDPMI等也能提供保护模式，比EMM386好多了。
The boot disk made by Wengier has the function of providing protected mode. Only in protected mode can 32-bit programs be used, such as programs compiled with DJGPP, and 32-bit RAR, etc. To start Win9x, protected mode must be used, but generally, Win9x will automatically provide protected mode when it starts. What is DJGPP? I'm too noob, please give me some pointers. Also, isn't there a RAR for DOS? Why do we have to use 32-bit ones?
