My purpose of building the security system is to protect the data on the hard disk other than partition C or a certain folder, protected by FOLDER GUARD.

1. Set the SETUP and user boot passwords in BIOS. This user boot password can be known by others, allowing them to freely enter the XP system. Only I know the SETUP, and the system can only boot from the hard disk. Since the user doesn't know the boot password of the DOS boot disk, he can only enter from the XP system. After entering, he can't open my personal folder. Since BOOT.INI is set to read-only by FOLDER GUARD, the system boot page can't be modified. Also, vFloppy can't integrate another DOS boot disk image anymore!

2. I use vFloppy to integrate the DOS boot disk image into partition C of the hard disk for easy system recovery with GHOST.

3. As for the confidentiality of the DOS boot disk image content that the moderator is concerned about, it is also protected by FOLDER GUARD under the XP system, and the folder where the DOS boot disk image is located can't be opened.

According to the above plan, without knowing the BIOS SETUP password, unless the password is cleared by opening the case (lock the case hard, haha), then others can only operate the computer from the XP system. For those folders protected by FOLDER GUARD, they can't be opened unless the password to open FOLDER GUARD is known and its encryption measures are cracked (this may be difficult at present)

In this way, I have achieved the purpose of allowing others to use my computer while they can't view my personal folder.

But I need to thank the above discussions and the moderator's replies. Originally, I only set the read-only attribute for the DOS boot disk image using FOLDER GUARD. After reading the moderator's post, I think it's necessary to add more security measures to it and set it to the "prohibited from entering" attribute. Then, I'll make a GHOST image file of the system for future recovery, once and for all.

Do you need to use cmd and other tools to uninstall and stay in memory?
If so, you can use the xp built-in cacls command to restrict the running of cmd and other tools (must be an NTFS partition).
