第一个ms edit实在太好了。与原版ms edit完全一样，但文件要小的多,一直没办法压缩win 2003中的edit.com,却在这里找到了比小的文件。只有ms的 edit才可以同时编辑多个文件，多窗口切换，可编辑二进制文件，支持长文件名。与汉字系统没有alt热键冲突，支持各种显示模式(如显示屏为50行)。支持输入特殊字符输入，可按alt加小键盘输入控制字符.……这些功能都是其它文本编辑不能同时支持。很多启动盘里面的edit都不如ms的 edit方便
The first MS Edit is really great. It's exactly the same as the original MS Edit, but the file is much smaller. I've been unable to compress edit.com in Windows 2003 all the time, but I found a smaller file here. Only MS's Edit can edit multiple files at the same time, switch between multiple windows, edit binary files, and support long filenames. It doesn't have conflicts with the Alt hotkeys of the Chinese character system and supports various display modes (such as 50 lines on the display). It supports entering special characters and can enter control characters by pressing Alt plus the numeric keypad... These functions can't be supported simultaneously by other text editors. Many boot disks' Edits are not as convenient as MS's Edit.
