You can definitely use the XP installation disc to boot and install the system. The GHOST file in Toshiba's recovery disc is encrypted and cannot be manually restored. Of course, there are solutions, but they are more complicated. I can find the optical drive under DOS now. Just can't use my recovery disk, If I give up the genuine version and use another XP installation disk, how should I do it.
