Among the four machines, one is the host, and the others are slave machines. The slave machines have control cards to control the production of the production line. When the four computers start up, they need to connect to the network via a switch to exchange some data, and then the slave machines control the production. Now I find that some machines have integrated network cards and can connect to the network, while some machines have no network cards on the motherboard and have inserted a PCI network card. The newly purchased machine I have has an integrated network card, and the original DOS system program can recognize the network card and work normally. If I replace it with another network card, the system shows "can not reset the network" after startup and cannot be used. Please, experts, does inserting another network card need a driver?
