難 得 Jim Hall 偷 了 兵 法 『 致 諸 死 地 而 後 生 』 ， 很 多 躲 懶 的 開 發 人 員 回 來 了 ， 因 為 有 著 限 期 的 關 係 ， 大 家 都 在 趕 工 。
不 能 不 『 馬 後 砲 』 的 發 洩 一 下 ， 很 早 已 經 在 那 個 討 論 區 說 過 ， FreeDOS 需 要 一 個 領 導 人 ， 一 個 目 標 時 間 ... 無 奈 等 了 這 麼 久 才 有 動 靜 ! 1.0 說 了 許 多 年 了 ， 不 要 再 拖 了 啦 !!

It's rare that Jim Hall used the military strategy of "putting oneself in a desperate situation to gain a new life". Many lazy developers came back because of the time limit, and everyone was working hard.

得 看 你 怎 样 界 定 ‘ 好 多 Bug ’ 了 !
大 部 份 的 工 具 都 算 稳 定 的 ， 最 有 问 题 的 ISO 光 碟 映 像 也 转 了 负 责 人 ， 只 是 Defrag 仍 不 支 援 FAT32 比 较 恼 人 ， HIMEM/EMM386 改 来 改 去 还 是 有 些 问 题 没 修 正 。

Well, it depends on how you define "many bugs"!
Most tools are relatively stable. The most problematic ISO disk image has also changed hands to a new maintainer. It's just that Defrag still doesn't support FAT32, which is rather annoying. There are still some problems with HIMEM/EMM386 that haven't been fixed after repeated changes.

直到今天，也就是比原计划推迟了一个多月之后的9月上旬，FreeDOS 1.0才是真正被放出来了。
