Device drivers not found: "OEMCD001"
No valid CDROM device drivers selected
the windows98 setup files were not found
A:\>
打入device.com vide-cdd.sys
IDE/ATAPI CD-ROM Device Drives Version 2.14 10:48:22 02/17/98
Error: No CD-ROM drivers detected at all
Error: Device driver aborts loading
打入shsucdx.exe
SHSUCDX can't intall
Can't open CD drivers SHSU-CDN
This is a question I transferred from other forums. Since it involves issues related to CD-ROM drives under DOS and DOS boot disks, I take the liberty to post it here, hoping that the experts of the DOS Union can help me. Thanks.

【Question 1: Solved】
【1】Use an EasyDrive to connect a common CDROM drive to boot the machine. Use the Windows 98 CD. It can boot the machine to DOS, but cannot read the contents of the Windows 98 CD in the CD drive. The screen displays:
Device drivers not found: "OEMCD001"
No valid CDROM device drivers selected
the windows98 setup files were not found
A:\>
List the contents of drive A. They are some.sys.exe - type files. It can be determined that drive A is definitely not a CD-ROM because the contents of the Windows 98 boot CD are not like this; nor is it a hard disk because the hard disk is in NTFS format and cannot be read in DOS.
【2】Use a USB external CD drive (counterfeit IBM DVDROM) to read the Windows 98 CD to boot the machine. It can also boot the machine to DOS, but still cannot read the contents in the CD drive. The screen displays the same as above.
【3】Connect the machine to the USB external CD drive, then connect the Longshine FDD boot USB flash drive, and use the latter FDD to boot the machine. It can boot the machine to DOS, but still cannot read the contents in the CD drive. So in DOS, enter the following command to try to load the CD-ROM drive driver in the DOS environment:
Enter device.com vide-cdd.sys
The screen displays:
IDE/ATAPI CD-ROM Device Drives Version 2.14 10:48:22 02/17/98
Error: No CD-ROM drivers detected at all
Error: Device driver aborts loading
Enter shsucdx.exe
The screen displays:
SHSUCDX can't intall
Can't open CD drivers SHSU-CDN
Please advise, how can I read the contents in the CD-ROM in the DOS environment???
【Question 2】
Another question came to mind.
gyjys gave me a floppy disk image file containing USB drivers. It needs to be virtualized with a floppy disk drive when used, but the virtual floppy disk drive can only be set in Windows and used after restart. In case the Windows system cannot be entered, then this image file can't be used (I don't know if the ima image can be set in DOS), and then the USB CD-ROM cannot be used in DOS.
So, my question is, is there a way to directly burn this image to my own CD-ROM. When the BIOS is set to boot from the CD-ROM, automatically load this boot image containing USB drivers, so as to enter DOS and be able to use the USB CD-ROM in DOS. Otherwise, after the system is broken, not only the USB CD-ROM but also the floppy disk drive is needed, which is a bit troublesome.
My USB CD-ROM can boot the machine to DOS, but cannot read the contents in the CD-ROM. So I don't know if it is possible?
